Hello everyone,

I promised a week or so ago
I would have a multitude of gloats.
I also promised bar updates. As for the
updates, they will be coming, soon.
(spring in the north east is the busiest time of year)
Well I have a whole extra room full of unopened
UPS and fed-ex boxs. And a huge box arriving on Monday.
Here are two any way. The first is the saw helper fence from american design and engineering. The second is really my favorite,
Lee Valley drill and counter bore.
I copied a picture from the American website, but I am not going
to use the stand in the picture. I will keep the saw on one of those Ridgid
mitre saw carts. I of course will post a picture fully assembled
asap.

Thank you all for your envy.

Nice couple of helper gloats there! I am sure they will make shop life better!

Here is a picture of the Saw Helper assembled.
Please note I left the saw on the rigid mobile
mitre stand.
A few things I feel must be said about this tool.
This is the best engineered system for the mitre
saw. It costs a bunch. Its is truly accurate and sets up
in seconds.
But for this kinda money, the nuts and bolts should be stainless.
I went to the local hardware store first thing, changed all that.
The steel parts are painted in a industrial gray enamel and not very
well. For a tool that will spend alot of time outside, as mine do,
would it cost to much to powdercoat it? I will in my free time
POR15 the steel. http://www.por15.com/ Now this stuff is amazing.
And last but not least, American Design and Enginering needs
to improve their manual.
Alot.

Per, I didn't even know Lee Valley sold drill bits. They look awsome. Will Monday's big box contain something glossy black with red highlights? Oh Boy!
