Hey Guys,

How / where do your get replacement RECI tubes? I found the web site but it's useless. And does anyone have an cost information on a 80Watt RECI tube.

Coletech on Ebay for me recently as a backup tube, $700 shipped. Good packaging and it seems to work. That's good for my track record so far.

Try going back to your laser mfg to see if they can supply you with a Reci tube.

From everything I have read, the Chinese only know how to ship Laser tubes inside of lasers by boat. Almost evryone I have read about DHL and others the tubes are broken. Then you are charged and have to file a claim. If you can get one local or in the Us for $700 that would be the way to go. At least that is what I would do.

What happened to your old tube? Was it an RECI tube? If so I thought they were suppose to last forever. Also was it under warranty?

I get the 80W reci tubes for around $ 500, they ship via DHL and never had a probleme, if you want one give me a PM. even with the normal glass was not a probleme. but I also had before the new supplier some send from cncoletech and they arrived perfect super packing just regular postal service.

Walt, I looked on Coletech's web page and they actually sell the 80watt RECI tube for $418 I believe it is. Then there is a $280 charge for shipping. That is pretty much $700.

Is your supplier $500 including shipping??

Rabbit in Ohio sells them for about $1000 shipped.

Otherwise I'd contact GWeike or Shehui and buy a tube off them. You'll probably save about $300 doing it that way but many reports suggest getting the tube in one piece can be tricky.

Thanks guys. I was basically trying to figure out if I should spend the money now and order an extra tube along with the laser or wait. Based on what you guys have said I went ahead and ordered a spare tube, along with my laser, plus mirrors, lens, etc...

w2 80w is 490usd
w4 100w is 900usd
w6 130w is 1680usd
w8 150w is 2170usd

if u spend over 5000k usd, u get ~25% discount.

price is out of reci in china.

my supplier recomend to buy 2 because of shipping and the two reci tubes would then be $ 890 including shipping to the US

Do they have a shelf life like the CO2 tubes and does the warranty start on the date stamped on them.
