Colored SS Travel Mugs

So I got some of colored Stainless Steel travel mugs to laser. My question is after I burn through the color I am down to what appears to be bear stainless steel do I need to put some type of sealer on it for I to hold up or will it wear ok as is. If I do need to seal it what would you recommend.

You will be fine, I find if the engraving holds a tinge of the color a Magic Eraser and Windex will clean it up nicely.
