Richard,
To be honest, most boxes bore me. Maybe that's partly due to the fact that I haven't made one. But, this one is different. I really like the shape, the taper and the beading. Now, I'm going to have to make a box.

Fine Box, Richard.......having made numerous ones myself, I am impressed with the style on this one.......the combination of the beads at the opening and the step on the knob is unusual .....at least I have not seen one exactly like this. Nice job!

I like it! Not overly ornate, clean lines and a natural look to the wood! Nice job!

I am not much of a box maker but this one I really like. The clean lines and finish really catch my eye.

Just beautiful ! I love this style of elegantly simple and clean flowing lines. I also like the overall size and it came out super.

Wow Richard, that's a beauty! Looks like an old bell! I'm surprised at the variation in color I'm seeing in the different walnut items that are being posted.

This is great. I really like the shape, but the thing that really interests me is the beading where the lid and box join. That is awesome.
