I was going through some of my old photo's from my years teaching high school woodshop. I posted this one several years ago with the students face whited out. The young man pictured making long ribbons come of a large round of white pine was the best wood turner that I had the privilege to have in my classes. He graduated a few years back.

Cool photos Jack! Love it when I get the chance to turn green wood and make those super-long curlies!

Going to be some jealous old men around here who just wish they could make shavings that size. Oh what good sharp tools can do!
