Sapele lids for a salt and pepper set. Turned as replacements when friends dog ate their originals. Hopefully their dogs never did that to their homework as kids!

Apple Hollow Form. Around 7" (17cm) tall. Finished with waterborne lacquer. I am really starting to like turning apple! Tried something a bit different with this. Went with a wider base than I normally use to make it less tippy and tried a slightly flared mouth.

Nice work, bet your friends are happy to have the set repaired. The apple wood looks good, nice hf.

Some fun stuff Eric!! IMHO, I'd like a tucked on the foot of the HF...just for a little depth.

They look good. Apple is fun to turn. Especially when it cooperates as it drys!
