Some very nice looking "perfect handle" style screwdrivers just showed up on the LV site . . . I'd be adding these to my cart if I hadn't just recently bought the Grace set from the Best Things. (which I really like, but I don't really need the 12 and 14 their set comes with; although the #2 [which LV's set doesn't have] has come in handy) But these are sexy.

(FWIW, the Grace screwdrivers have been very nice to have)

Those are nicer looking than the original screwdrivers of that pattern. WHY did they start making flared tips, anyway? My old Marples screwdrivers aren't flared, and the flaring can get in the way,so good thinking on LV's part!!

Nice timing. I have a nice set on my "need list". I'd like to see a review.

The household Christmas elf just picked up a set last night for the resident Grinch but I will have to wait a few months to try them out. I expect that they are good quality like all of the other tools I have purchased from LV.

I am sure they are extremely fine, and who but LV would have thought of providing a carbide burnisher to "hook" the edges so they'd get a bite into brass screws? LV is making some of the very finest tools ever made. That is something to think about.

Oh yeah; those went straight to the wish list.

Yep, went straight to my wish list too. The burnisher thing is really cool, I'd never heard of doing that before. Is that an original idea or is it one of those things people have been doing for ages?

Just when I think I can stop sending hard-earned money to my Canadian pusher - something new comes to tempt me.

I can't understand why I can own heirloom quality tools, and still need more...
Curse you Lenny - you know my weaknesses so well!

I also like the "prairie dog" bench dog they just released, as well:

The non-flared tips on those screwdrivers are the one thing that's making me think of picking them up even though I have the Grace ones.

A nicely ground tip on a screwdriver makes such the difference.
