I am building a humidor (my first) for a friend and am perplexed. I thought I'd use Brusso quadrant hinges, but it is becoming a bit complicated. You see, Brusso makes 2 quadrant hinges - the priimary difference being one of size. The leaves of the larger hinge are too wide for my box. Not a problem, as I thought I'd simply get a pair of the smaller quadrant hinges. However, for whatever reason, while Brusso makes a template for the larger hinge, they do not make one for the smaller hinge.

So I am trying to get this figrued out. Anyone know of a source for an attractive (not cheapo) quadrant hinge AND template?

Brusso's are about the finest you'll find, unless you have a machinist make you some. Even then, they'd be hard to beat. I've installed a few pairs of them. The easiest way is to use a bradpoint bit and clean it all up with chisels. I've never had a problem going this method. Hope this helps.

Rocklers sells a quadrant hinge. They even have a spec sheet you can print that gives dimensions and mounting information.Quadrant Hinge (http://www.rockler.com/ecom7/product_details.cfm?&offerings_id=584&SearchHandle=DADBDBDHDADADDDGGDDAGFDHGBDCDDGDCNDCD IGDDFCNDEGDDGGFCNDIGDGBGGCNGCGCDHDGGBDBGBGBDJDIDCD FDADADADBDADADADBDEHBHFGBGEHCGBGOHECAGIGJGOGHGFDAD ADADEDADADADADADADADBDFDADADADBDADADADADADADADADAD ADADADBDADADADBDEHBHFGBGEHCGBGOHECAGIGJGOGHGFDADAD ADBDB)
