Hi all, I’m looking for a source for a good quality 5” 5-hole PSA disc.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks

Klingspor has every kind of abrasive, and at good prices. www.woodworkingshop.com is their web site.

I've used Klingspor. No complaints, but I like Industrial Abrasives better.

I buy them in bulk packages of 50 discs from Woodworkers Warehouse. I don't remember the brand name, but they are very low cost.

Just do a search on Goggle. Lots of places to get them and compare prices. Norton usually costs me 17.00 per hundred. Mirka is usually 14-16.00 per hundred at the yearly woodshow in KC.
Also try Ebay, can sometimes get some deals there. Watch out on the shipping costs though, some of them like to inflate the shipping to cover their losses on selling.

I get all my PSA sanding disks from Woodworkers Supply800 645 9292. THey last a good while and stay stuck to the sander unless you intentionally peel them off. They come in a carboard box to keep them clean until you need them if you buy 100. I have the PC radom orbit sander.

I’ve been using the Klingspor pads for the last couple of years and they work well, BUT
I have about 20 or so that I can’t remove the clear backing from unless I set them under a heat lamp for several minutes and then carefully pick them off with a razor blade – and that is very annoying. I’ve used WWSupply & some of the other catalog offerings but they don’t last as long as Klingspor (IMHO).
I will give Industrial Abrasives a shot.

Thanks

Steve, as a matter of fact we do! Are they competitively priced? Their hardwoods are sky high out here.

If I remember correctly I pay 17.00 something for a roll of 100 psa. Although I have a commercial account with them. Give them a call, they usually sell to individals in what they call their woodworkers store. STeve
