Verizon DSL slowdown.....*frustrated*

:mad: Seems like the past month or so I have had HUGE slowdowns in the evening while trying to surf. SMC is one of the few sites that is not affected, but most sites I try to go to I get nowhere. Verizon tech support is obviously no help, and checking my online speeds I have decent upload and download speeds. DSLreports is busy tonight but PCpitsop shows normal sppeds. is this a web problem, a verizon problem, or could it be an inhouse problem?

Verizon has been knee-deep in rolling out FIOS (fiber to the prem) services in a lot of places and I believe they are mucking about with the DNS servers. There were some notes about this in the FIOS forum at DSLReports lately. This is causing delays in most areas. I have 3mb DSL from them right now and have been experiencing the same issues...and not always at night.
