Yet another piece of Apple, nothing fancy but I like the piece.
Again being a fruitwood I had a lot of movement in the piece during the drying.
Measures 5 1/4' x 5 1/4" hollowed to a thickness of 1/8"
C & C welcome

Very pretty, I just turned my first piece of apple the other day, and made a Hollow Form. Very nice wood to turn.

Wonderful piece John. The heartwood just dripping off it makes me think of a candy apple with the caramel coating. Doesn't get much better.
Only a nit, but the opening seems a bit hard with the sharp edge. Personal preference I suppose, but doesn't detract overall from piece.

Thanks Tim,
I would have liked it better had the form had less of a "neck' for the opening but during the drying the wood moved so much that I was limitted with what I could do with it once dry. Originally the opening was apx. 3/4" but wound up so off center that in the end I wound up with a much larger opening, and less options for the outer form.
