Well, I learned recently that my workplace is very near Charlie Stein's house. (A long time member of the Creek)
So, today, I grabbed one of my coworkers (and new woodworker) and we drove over to Charlie's house for a long lunch break.
Charlie showed us around his shop and taught us a couple of things and let us look around. The guy has innovations in his woodshop that are so cool! We got to fondle his pens and a bunch of other finished products and he showed us some very useful techniques he uses on the scroll saw.
It was a very worthwhile lunch...I hope to go back when I can spend a little more time.
