I like to make my shellac in small 8oz batches, I also like to store my other stuff (WTF, poly etc) in these with screw tops so i'm not always opening the can.

I've had a heck of a time trying to find a place locally that just sells a regular clear 8oz narrow mouth bottle without all sorts of other superfluous crap with it.

Any thoughts on where to find something? Maybe baby bottles?

These are kinda nice ... 8 oz. and a wide mouth ... just over a buck each ...

Use "Bloxigen" or Argon gas if you have a welder and the container size is not so important.

+1 on Bloxigen - a little shot before you close the can and it's as good as new when you reopen it.

I use beer bottles with the porcelain/rubber gasket stoppers, a little bigger than your 8oz, but the bloxygen helps here, and its enjoyable making the bottles available for finish storage!
