Stanley Eccentric lever replacement part question?

Hello, I apologize if this has been asked a million times already but I have a nice old 60 1/2 (about 40's-50's vintage Im thinking) that needs a replacement eccentric lever..Will this replacement lever from Stanley http://www.stanleytoolparts.com/ecplfor121.html fit the older planes?
Any opinions and thoughts are appreciated..

No it won't. The ones that Stanley now sells have a smaller post which makes for too much slop.

There is a guy (nicobie) on ebay that sells the proper one for the older block planes.

Just do a ebay search for: stanley eccentric lever.
