Corel cdr and cdt done in trial x6 won't open in x5

Hi a client sent me 3 files he did in trial version of x6 and when I open them in my Corel x5 it's just a blank page. Any ideas why or if
I can open them somehow? I attached the 2 cdrs, and the cdt wouldn't attach. Thank you, Bruce

Seems like Corel always makes it so that files created in a newer version NEVER open in the older vesions of CD. You need to get a version of CD6 or wait for someone here who has it. (I uninstalled it after trying it for awhile.)

Ah ok thanks. I figured out a way to convert another file he had sent and got it done in x5.

As a reference, in the future just ask them to save it in a lower version of CD. As you go to save it, there is a "save as" section and a pull down menu.
