Ready to pull the trigger on the Kindle Fire HD 7". I am a bit confused about You tube videos. Some reviews say you can not view You tube videos on the Fire HD. Kinda makes sense since You tube is owned by Google. But what good is a tablet that can't play You tube?
Is it true the Fire HD can't play You tube videos?

It works but not out of the box. Apparently some browser/flash version issue. You'll need to install the latest Dolphin browser and Flash, directions are below -->

"Install Dolpin (browser). The most current version of Dolphin won't work."
So I guess the short answer is no. Can hardly believe anything sold can't view You-Tube.

See this page http://blog.the-ebook-reader.com/2012/09/17/40-tips-and-tricks-for-kindle-fire-hd/
Supposedly works by several methods. Adobe, not Google or Amazon is not supporting Flash for ICS and newer Android systems. WWW.Mobileread.com is a great source of info also.

What I do not is about this is the user is required to go thru contortions to make it all work whereas, IMHO, it SHOULD work straight out of the box.
