I'm finally working my way back into my shop after a multi-year leave of absence. I'm trying to locate narrow saw blades that would fit my 14" Delta bandsaw. The blade size is 1/16". I have a couple blades on hand but I haven't been able to find this size blade for sale. I would appreciate any leads or information that might assist in my search. Thank you ahead of time.

Look in the MSC catalog, but 1/8"is usually the smallest blade, and then they are really metal cutting blades with hacksaw type teeth. I had a real thin 1/8"blade with actual wood cutting teeth years ago, which I really treasured. It would easily cut the scroll on the body of a Gibson F5 style mandolin. It did break, though. Haven't been able to find another like it since. Might be time to rely on the Hegner jigsaw. Maybe you should too.

woodcraftband . com and supercutbandsaw . com have 1/8" bands as well. I don't recall ever seeing 1/16" for sale.
