I have been running my new Speedy300-60W for 8 days and I have couple of questions for you seasoned veterans.

1 - What settings you use for marking stainless steel with CerMark?
Job control suggestions is 100 power 30 speed and I find that this setting is not optimal as mark is more of grey than rich black I was getting with ULS400-45w. I know I should run grid pattern to find sweet spot.

2 - When job is started and I press pause button, how do I cancel current job from further process?

Thanks in advance.

"When job is started and I press pause button, how do I cancel current job from further process?"

When job is paused at the machine. you need to go to the software (Job Control) and click on the red button (stop) to reset the job or Control-E.

Cermark -- CO2: 90-100% power (35 watt laser) 15-30% speed 500 DPI / 500 PPI I believe the norm is your wattage = speed @ 100 % P

Tony

I run my 45 watt at 100P, 25S, 600dpi.

Mark,

I have been marking stainless for over 10 years on ULS V-400 45 watts using settings of 100% P, 35-37%S and it got me a very rich black mark.
I also did many clear anodized aluminum plates with very permanent black mark at 100% p, 30% S.

Trotec settings are job in progress to get same results for me.
