Bolt Action Pen made with deer antler with CA finish. A nice looking and well made kit but I had to modify the position of the bolt action because the manufactor has the bolt action wrong in my opinion. This would make a nice gift for the deer hunter.

Before you assemble the pen, there's a screw that you can loosen, and then swing the "bolt handle" 180*.

I have to raise my price for those bolt action pens. I just had one bring $400 at a charity auction. I suspect that it had more to do with the cute baby with a heart defect than the quality of my pen, but still.

Nice work Bobby!! Before someone talks you into a price increase...I had a closed-end buckeye burl Jr Gent II with every bell and whistle go for $425 at a golf auctiion. Why? because it's an auction. In real life...$175...different market...$200...other market...$100. Bolt action pens are still an unknown or Hmmmmm market. Look around, offer a few as demos...see what happens!

Maybe talk to independent gun shops/sporting goods stores to sell for christmas presents?

Gun shops and hunting clubs too! I bailed out of a gallery because the owner said $150 was to much for Jr Gent II with custom cast resin. I told him he was paying for shipping back here. Sold all of them for my retail price...galleries are sketchy at best.

They are sold thru Penn State Industries, or others that distribute PSI's products.

Thanks for the comments, they are appreciated. I already have a request for one of the pens. I do plan on hitting up some of the local gun shops for possible orders for Christmas. Kevin, I got my kits from Exotics Blanks, they are great people to deal with and the turn around on orders is a lot faster.

I've ordered from them many times myself, PSI just happened to be the first to pop to my mind, because the bolt action pen is their kit....

Exotics is also currently OOS on these....
