Here are two new hollow forms to add to my current series of pieces. These are great fun to do, the major difference from the previous three is the change from black to white on the textured areas. These are Sycamore coloured with acrylics, they are 4" tall. C&C welcome

Like them both as well, and agree on the green one, I like it a little bit more. The two tone look on the colored sections is top notch

I think you are getting somewhere with these. I would like to see something like this in walnut or some other dark wood, preferably with some figure, with the non-textured areas left natural. The balance on these works much better than the first set.

Both look good! I'm agreeing with the others, I like the green...

As you know, I was not in love with your earlier attempts..these are more to my liking. Different and unique ..my preference of the two is the left, as there is more color contrast. Hope you keep traveling this road.

Thanks for all the kind replies, I too like these a little better than the first set(although I do still like them).

Those both look great Johnny! I like them both but like the others, I prefer the green one.
