Waiting to take delivery of my Laguna IQ

Well after much thought and research I went with the Laguna IQ. For the money it fit my mission profile, and didn't break the bank and left some money over to buy bits and accessories. Just started playing with VCarve Pro and already created my first 2d + sign. I should take delivery on Tuesday and should be making saw dust shortly there after.

I'll post my thoughts on the machine as I get experienced with it. Being my first CN machine I'm sure to screw up plenty.

Nothen like trail and error... just make dust. Remember, its a tool like any other, takes time to learn. And like my dad said, it an't no substitute for good design.

I have been considering a small cnc strictly for hobby use. What steered you away from the Rommax?
