I am finally getting around to sharpening a burgeoning saw collection (not sure exactly how this happened), but I need a retail or internet source for saw files...that actually has them in stock. I have checked the Wenzloff site and know they are out of stock. I did receive the introductory LV email today for their kit, but wanted to see what I could purchase ala carte (so to speak) first.

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.

Tools for Working Wood (http://www.toolsforworkingwood.com/store/dept/TH/item/EE-555-SF.XX/Saw_Files) has Grobet Files a la cart and by the dozen.

They, like Lee Valley, are a very nice company to deal with.

That LV kit is a pretty good deal right now though, so you might want to consider getting it while its on special. You'll need that additional sizes eventually.

Lie-Nielsen sells them with handles on their website.

Lee Valley just started selling them and has a super deal on a set. The clock is ticking on the deal. I don't know if they have the handles - I didn't see them on the page with the files.
