This is the other handle that I made for the "piggyback" piece I posted earlier. Although the form isn't exactly what I wanted, I'll use this handle and learn from the experience. The handle does match the color of the bottom better in person than it does in the pics.

This is a much more pleasing handle than the first one, to my eye. On the previous version I did not know where to look! I like how the curve of the handle follows the curve of the lid.

I like this better than the first, but think it would work even better if the handle pointed upward. Here is a crude modification of your picture to show what I mean.
BTW I llike the form and the dye job. It shows off the grain very well.

Definitely a better outcome. You might want to consider making a clean sweep (curve) on the top of the handle.
