I could really use some help. I have a rush job for a customer that requires laying out a list of names in 4 equal columns.

Each name has to line up horizontally across the four columns but the problem I am running into is the fourth column does not have the same number of names as the first three. I am confident there is a simple solution but I am stumped.

If anyone can lead me to a solution I would truly appreciate it.

Using Corel X3

Is each column a separate text object? Artistic or paragraph text, shouldn't matter. If so, you can align on the top edge, that should leave each row aligned. Knowing how you create the text would help.

Sotos,

I have tried it by creating 4 columns, and then tried separate text blocks. But when I add the names to the fourth column they do not line up horizontally with the rest because the last column has fewer names.

I have attached a sample with the separate text blocks.

Thank you for your response.

I would line them up and leave a blank space at the bottom right.

Mike,

That is what I am trying to do but cannot figure out the proper way to do it?

Thanks,

Try clicking the enter key twice as if you were going to type a line below the bottom line on the right.

Mike,

Thank you very much. I feel foolish that the solution was that simple. I really appreciate your response on this!
