Hello All,
Does anyone know if there is a free "viewer" program that will open newer .ai files that I can import into Corel X3? I can open (I believe) from version 10 and earlier in X3, but not newer. Without buying the newest Corel or AI software I have to keep telling my customer to send in an earlier version. (and as we know it's hard enough to get a nice vector file from them to begin with).
Thanks, Patrick

Download Foxit reader and the Foxit PDF printer. Open in Foxit and in your printer list you will have Foxit printer that prints to a pdf file. This works most of the time

Thanks Bill,
Will this allow me to import into Corel so I can make changes etc. or is it just a view and print program?

After you print to the Foxit printer import the pdf into Corel and edit away!

Try Gimp it opens and can save in different file formats
