Large Elm Natural Edge bowl

The largest NE that I have turned, it is just over 16" across. The finish is lacquer.

Nice, and that is a big NE piece. The feet are a nice way to do a NE piece that doesn't get rough and final turned. Looks great Dennis! Nice clean colors...I assume this hasn't had a chance to sit around in log form long before you turned it.

16" that's a beast of a NE bowl Dennis! It looks really spectacular with the bark/sapwood/heart giving it natural stripes. The feet are a really nice touch giving it that bit of air adding to the appearance of lightness. Great work!

Had to be exciting spinning a natural edge that large. Beautifully done and well balanced. The feet set apart from other natural edge bowls. Contrast of heart wood, sap wood and bark make it a lot to look at. Thanks for sharing.
