Can this be done? What is a good tint to use?

Thanks
Brian :)

Virtually all water bourne finishes are acrylic based and can be tinited with universal tints. You can also use the trans-tint (liquid) dye concentrate.

Thanks Jim!

I'm getting ready to place an order with Highland Hardware and they sell 2oz. bottles of Transtint wood dyes.

Target Coatings offer tinting services on the Target USL and you can also get it and the Fuhr 9100 tinted by Jeff Jewitt, too...just about any color of the rainbow! Much better than "paint" when you want a painted finish and more durable in most cases.

I'm wanting to add a touch of red to match a customer color sample and the stains just aren't doing it, hence i'll try tinting the finish.

Thanks again
