A project in an old woodworking magizine (1991) recommended a 1/8" , Three tooth per inch, Hook Tooth blade. It is for sawing a 4" Cube into a puzzle. Where can I find such a blade? What would you suggest for tight radius in a thick block? My saw uses a 93 1/2" blade.
Thanks
Dave

OOPS ! It is not three tooth per inch it is nine tooth per inch.

I've never seen a 1/8" 3 tpi blade. I'm sure that there is such, but it sounds like a pretty coarse tooth count for such a narrow blade body.

Carter sells a 3/16 x 4 tpi blade. That oughta do it.

If the small cut radius is the primary consideration, don't worry about tpi. Higher tooth count will work fine (in fact you'll get a smoother cut) but just not as quickly. I actually prefer a high tpi raker on small items like BS boxes no matter the cut depth. Reduces sanding and results in a better fit of the parts.

My carelessness, It is supposed to be nine teeth per inch, not three.

I buy from Jose, at Iturra Design.

I'm sure other suppliers are reliable, but every blade I've purchased from him cuts straight and true.
A brief phone call with your particulars will lead you to a workable choice from his large selection.

There are less expensive suppliers, but I figure I pay a small premium to get the right blade, the first time.
