Here is my latest board project.... I had a nice visit with Mike Null recently and passed on some
products I use. These boards displays one of those products. It's Dye Sub Hardboard stock. I get it from
Conde, but I think Johnson Plastics may sell it also. It's great stuff! It cuts easy with the laser. I did
the two shields at the top of both boards with this. First I cut to shape and size, the make the graphic
border bit bigger to alignment of the transfer easier, press and Voila!
The other piece I did was a shield of the 9th Air Force. This was used at a presentation of a Silver Star
to the family of SrA Bradley Smith who was killed in action in Afgahnistan. I was part of the volunteer crew
that was setting up the grounds for the event. Thinking the podium looked a bit bare I went back to the shop
and made the shield for the podium, making it was a nice finishing touch.
