Hi, I am new to the forum.

We have a Trotec Speedy 500 200 watts and we have a an order for cutting pieces of 1/4'' x 23'' x 45''. The material is .250 tickness Extruded Acrylic Green Edge. The problem we have is with the same set-up ( power, speed, ppi, etrc) from one sheet to anothers one the material doesn't cut completely. For some peices we have to go up to 4 pass to cut it. Anybody face that problem? Did is the material that creating the problem? is it our laser?

In the dark

Thanks in advance for any tip or help

I agree, something is wrong. 75W cuts that material like butter, 1 pass.

Welcome to SMC.

I wonder if your material is flat and in focus in all areas.

Wow, I think Mike is right. Either your focus is waaay off or maybe you aren't truly getting 200 watts out of your machine. What does it take to cut 1/8" baltic birch? Jim

That's really close to what I use on 75W so something is wrong.

Hi Scott,
I am surprise that you can use almost the same settings with a 75 watts,
With my Trotec 60W, I can't go faster than .3 as speed and you can run almost 1 ?? wow
Wish to go faster. But I can do a clean job in 1 pass.
Best regards
