Any suggestions for a good source for highly figured hard/sugar maple for some guitar necks? Full 4/4 by 4 wide by 28 to 30 long. For Fender type necks.

Thanks in advance.

i've used "northwest timber" in the past, musical quality billets, inventory all visible online, tons of inventory, tiger, quilted, bookmatched, etc, and a very helpful owner. just google them, not sure if they allow url links posted in here.

I've had good experience with Kevin Koski at curlymaplewood.com. His stock can be viewed online and he's a good guy to deal with. Lots of pics of every piece along with pricing.

I also say go to Bell Forest Products - Boone or Eric can take care of you and you will love their expert and efficient service and their curly maple.

Thanks, I will look them all up. I haven't dealt with Northwest Timber, but my daughter lives in the same town. I just need the neck blanks, and he carries a lot of BLM which is too soft for that.
