Hilti drywall gun parts needed

I bought a used Hilti SF 4000 with auto feeder not knowing it was an older model. It needs a new #2 Phillips head driver bit but it is discontinued in Canada. It is 6.5 inches long. The new ones are only 4.5 inches. Does anyone know of a source for older Hilti parts? Kinda screwed without a bit, no pun intended. :p Thanks Stephen

Stephen, I've been trying to find the same bit for the last month. I've called Hilti USA, they no longer make that bit and have none in stock.

There are a couple manufactures that make a 6.25" bit. I tried one, but there isn't enough adjustment in the screw feed head to make up for the 1/4" difference in length.

Can you use an apex then use a shorter tip

Because of the shape of the bit and how it fits into the tool I haven't been able to find a bit holder that will fit inside the tool. I wanted to try asking on a dedicated drywall forum but I can't seem to join unless I'm a pro. Will keep looking though.
