is this band saw tire usable ?

After installing this urethane tire I noticed this defect, if you were running a carbide blade is it still usable or is there a chance that it could come apart and ruin my blade?

I can't answer your question directly but you need to ask yourself: What is the difference in cost for new tire versus a ndw blade? :D

It might be ok, but I would not trust it, If it's new, send it back.

Thanks guys, it was new a year ago, I just got around to changing from rubber to urethane and was being impatient, I wanted to change the set, but for now I replaced it with the good one and will replace the other. (mail order, have to learn patience)
