Writing Desk

The desk is 44" wide made primarily from Eastern walnut. The top is quilted sapele bordered with curly maple. The drawer front is Eastern walnut veneered with sapele pomelle, bordered with curly maple. The drawer sides are Eastern maple and the drawer bottom is 6mm ply veneered with Brazilian rosewood. Chippendale brass hardware supplied by Ball & Ball. Finish is satin lacquer on the walnut and semi-gloss lacquer on the sapele.
