I have met with Jim on at least 3 occasions. He is always pleasant, knowledgeable, and very interesting to talk to. I always go away thinking, "what a neat guy", and I always learn something as well.

To all the Creekers who have not met Jim, if he calls you up for a visit, don't pass up the opportunity. You will have a very enjoyable time.

Ok...folks, feed me if you must! No problem. Although the steak I had at Doe's Eat Place last night was enough for a family of four...and I ordered the "small" one. Sheesh! I almost didn't have room for dinner tonight after that one...

Seriously, it was really great to visit Terry and his lovely ladies tonight. And the shop...is twenty times better than the pictures! I suspect I'll be back again to "entertain" a certain large retailer that makes these parts home and Terry's place will be on my list for a revisit. And yes, Arkie-land is a nice area, too...my virgin visit has been pleasant.

Now there is a couple of serious wood chippers. Did anyone warn the DNR they would be in one spot.??

Glad you guys got to meet finally. I have to say Terry has the coolest shop I have ever seen in person. He's darn good with a smoker, too!

I had a great time visiting with Jim when he came to Dallas. Wish I could have gone out to eat with he and Steve that night. Next time you know you're coming this way Jim, let me know and I'll schedule a mini BBQ here at the house!

It was a great visit. Anyone who's any where close is always invited to stop by...especially if you buy supper. :D

BTW...I still consider myself a redneck. Mike just hasn't known me long enough to appreciate my redneckness yet. :D :D

I think Mike got it right Terry. You and Dennis been trying to pull that redneck stuff on us since BP days. As the saying goes "That dawg, don't hunt"
Nice to see you and Jim had a nice visit.

Well, John...I think I'm stickin' with the one(s) I have...Terry, of course, is welcome to take his pick! (But I like how you think!) BTW, another Creeker said "nice things" about you today at the Ft Washington show. :)

Congrats buddy. Some people have all the luck.

Well, I would have visited you, too, Dennis...but it was a "bit of a haul" for a quick evening jaunt! The good news (well, I guess it's good news...) is that I'll likely be back to NW Arkie-Land as my glowing smile must have been palatable to the people who buy the likes of what I sell... ;)

The trip home was rough, however, as I couldn't get an earlier flight and had a lot on my mind due to a certain text message I got in the middle of the morning meeting with my customer. (Info on our BLOG (http://a-j-adopt.blogspot.com)) I managed to stumble into my bed at 2am ET last night after my two flights to get from "there" to "here". I'm crashing early tonight...

Hey Jim,
You gotta come see me too! I live between Fayetteville and Fort Smith. but give me a little warning so I can clean up the shop. Terry sets a pretty high standard for clean shops.

'Don't care about how clean it is...(safety issues, notwithstanding)...and don't fool yourself. Terry uses his shop, but is anal like me...and weilds the broom when necessary.

Jim,
It would be GREAT if you would come and visit my shop! Terry is the only other creeker who has come to visit. In fact he helped me setup my new toys from Grizzly. (Thanks a million, Terry!) Since then, I have been so busy at work (10-12 hour days and more) I have had very little shop time. But a slowdown is in sight (maybe by the end of the summer). Anyway, please stop by the next time you are in the area.
