There is an older 1.5hp (9 amp) B&D plunge router a friend has. It is in good shape don't think it has been used much.
It has a 1/4 chuck and is steel and plastic. He wants $25 for it. I have a couple of fixed based routers but no plunge router. I thought this router
may work for me as a basic plunge router till I can spend $200 to get a bigger one. I would like to put some holes in a bench top
for bench dogs and I thought a plunge router would work well for that task. Just don't know about these older B&D Routers but at $25 dollars it may be worth it.
Any feedback on this router vs newer routers would be appreciated.
