I want to build a triangular display case using floating tenons to attach the rails to 2X2 posts.
Is this possible? Or perhaps dowels would be better.
I think a Domino would do the job but I don't want to spend that much. Actually, I do, but I can't.LOL

Dowels would be easy, or even a mortise and tenon.. I have a domino and would definitely do it that way..
I could see cutting the tenon on the table saw.. I have cut angled tenon's on the table saw before, if you have a sled its pretty easy.. Considering the strength you need, a dowel would probably be the simplest and fastest..

If you are using triangular posts going up, can you cut the corners off to make all the joints at 90 degrees

Hmmm, never considered that.
Thanks
