Walnut Fruit Bowl With Sapwood

This had heart shake on one side, but it was too pretty to toss so I filled it and turned it anyway. The shake wasn't "shaky" enough to allow filler material like I was wont to do, so bleh CA had to suffice. Defect can be seen in photos 3 and 5.

Very nice. The combination of the sapwood and heart wood makes me think of something pouring our of the bowl. It really flows.
