I made the jump up the other week and got a pm2700 planer and power feeder for 2k, so that was a reasonable investment. I really forward to being able to make some better quality raised panels, but sanding them was not something I was looking forward to.

Jump to today, I scan craigslist, and find someone listing a woodmaster 2675 sander for $750. I figured it would be in pretty rough shape, so I go look, and it is in great shape and works beautifully, so my brother has been borrowing my Performax 16-32 open end drum sander for some work, and he had asked a few weeks ago if I would sell it to him. I called him to confirm he still wanted it, and let him have it for $500 (a fair return on investment, and a good deal for him).

So for $250 I upgrade from a 16-32 to a woodmaster 2675. It takes up a good footprint, but for $250, I couldn't pass up something like that.
