I am planning a trip to Ethiopia in October to build some desks at a mission school. There is a Makita 2030 joiner/planer there that I can use but it needs feed rollers. It would be a real help if I could bring a pair of replacement rollers with me. Unfortunately the best price I can find for these parts is $200 each. Spending $400 in addition to other costs is a lot for me to spend right now.

Is there a less expensive alternative known to members of this forum?

I wonder if you could convince Makita to donate a pair since it's for such a worthy cause?
Good luck!
