After avoiding footsies for awhile because previous attempts turned out less than stellar, I went for it again. I think this is better than I did before. But does it work?

I like it. It appears that the bowl is sitting on a ring as opposed to having a foot. I would not have put a foot on that bowl. That is just me. Yours looks good.

About anything you did with that wood would work. The bead foot does seem to just blend in well and not be a distraction. I like it - great shape.

I also like the bead on the foot, blends nicely. I would like to see the rim more flat than angled in as it is though, that would make a more hard edge and distinguish a better line between the rim and the side of the bowl...my opinion.

That wood and your finish are spectacular. The foot looks like it is well done and goes well with the shape. I probably would have made the base smaller to get more of a curve in the bowl, but the beaded foot could still be a part of that design.
