LU84 on sale

Woodworkers Warehouse has the Freud LU84 combo blade on sale for 29 bucks. It's a steal at that price.

This is the uncoated version (which I happen to use rather than teflon). Their shipping is $10.99 plus the $29.99 is $41. You can get this blade at most walk in stores for $44-$46. May be a great buy for those that don't have a walk in nearby but not really great when you pay that much shipping.

PS - Just for kicks, I am going to print the ad and take it into the local Woodworker's Supply and see if they will match the $29.99. If they do I'll just add another spare to my collection.

If you live in the northeast then it's likely you have a local WoodWorkers Warehouse. I have 4 of them within an hour's drive , one of which is 10 min from work. So for us it's a great deal.

& I bought the Amana blade cause it was a little cheaper than the Freud. Does anybody think I should return it - it's still in the package - & trade it for the Freud?

I think the Freud was about $54 last week.

I would. This blade is great. If nothing else it's at least as good as the Amana and now probably cheaper.
