Small bowl from root ball

I got a bunch of basswood the other day. I have carved decoys from basswood but not tried to turn it. I must say I didn't enjoy the fuzzy stuff that much and the bowls I turned were pretty plain. However, inside the root ball was this little bowl.

That's pretty cool! Haven't turned Basswood yet but had a few very large Basswood trees get uprooted during the last big storm. Plan on giving it a try pretty soon!
