Pierced Poplar Hollow Form. Just under 5" (12 cm) tall. Finished with Bush Oil and Polyurethane. Not bad for a hollowing demo made from a piece of a pallet

Nice hollow form. I was a Sawyer in a pallet mill and there was some pretty nice wood that went into pallets!

Nice resurrection Eric! Looks better as a HF than a pallet!!

I agree with everyone. That's from a palette? Very nice. Almost makes me want to try piercing. Almost.

Thanks everyone, like Brian said, it can b quite surprising what you find in pallets. Sometimes it can be quite pretty. I like to see what surprises are inside. I had just done this as a hollowing tool demo when I noticed that the wood looked pretty nice. So I finished up up later and added some piercing.
