A search of the forum did show one favorable comment and no negative comments on
Harbor freight wet tile saw? Any other comments?

I plan to use it for my kitchen, so only expect one maybe two uses (rooms) from it. A rental is about $40 a day; I'm considering the $60 one on sale.

Any comments on their blades also?

Thanks.

I have one - works fine. Not really much to a wet tile saw. Diamond blades are pretty foolproof, as well - they don't really dull, they just run out of grit. The blade that comes with the saw would likely get you through a couple of rooms.

Like Dan,

I had a HF wet saw. I used it for a couple jobs of my own. I loaned it out to a co-worker who built his own home. He tiled 3 bathrooms, kitchen, sun room and a dining room with it.

We bought one a few years ago to tile some rooms in our house (800 sq ft). Figured since I won't be using any other time, it makes sense vs. renting one at $60 a day. Still have it and have loaned it to friends to use and used it again my self to do some backsplash. Getting ready to use it again on a shower install. I'm quite suprised being from HF.
