Just a couple pens I had to make. Still find it fun to see what the completed pen looks like even after close to a hundred made. The process does get tedious after awhile, I have to admit.

Figured box elder dyes so easily. Beautiful job. Really like the blue. Must be my Swedish heritage.

Beautiful Jeremy! I know how you feel...I just cut up 80 blanks for our church...I hate repetitive motion!

Very nice Jeremy. I've not turned a pen in a while...I may need to do one here shortly! I really like the corrugata, but geez, that dyed Box Elder is gorgeous too!

Thank folks. This is the first time I've tried a dyed blank. I've always avoided them in the past in favor of crazy natural spalting or grain. I'm starting to come around to the possibilities now, however. Blue is my favorite color as well, followed closely by hunter green.
