Cabinet is made of Sapele & Spalted Maple. Door pull is Wenge. Un-finished inside, oil outside. Sorry for the poor photos. The only one true in color is of the back. That photo was taken inside.

I like it--simple and clean, nice execution.

Only problem is that it isn't big enough. Man cannot live on Bruichladdich alone.

Thanks! It does also hold the taller Ardbeg bottles as well ;-)

You thought I meant taller bottles? I meant more bottles. :D

You sound like you like the peaty ones. I'm more a Highland-aged-in-sherry-cask guy, but really liked the Bruichladdich PC-series releases and the Ardbeg Alligator.

I must be weird. I like the back the best!!!! I've never been a fan of slab doors.

Love the knife hinges.

I really like the Laddie 10 year, non peated. Also Aberlour A' Bunadh. The peaty stuff is great in the cold months though.

A couple extra photos showing more accurate color. And of course the mandatory hinge shot.

Put a bottle of Connemara Irish Whisky in there and it'll look even better. If you're into peaty, get the 'cask strength' and then have some of the 'regular' stuff on hand to quell the 'toro the bull' flames caused by the Connemara..strong...good stuff. End of the day and now you've made me thirsty...deathly thirsty.

Very nice cabinet whatever the contents. Now you have an excuse to enjoy a whiskey, while admiring your impressive work. Here's another fan of the back of the piece, reminds me of a Krenov with the spalted maple and all.

Looks terrific! I like the slab door, I think it is perfect for the size cabinet.
