I decided that the project was worth persuing,so I completed it and made a color, I call Rose Copper. (red & copper mixed)..and took the time to take a better picture . (not a great pic , but better! :)) This may appeal better to the turner's eye, and make people who like color a bit happier!

I'm glad you are pursuing this Michelle, I didn't comment originally in your other post. I think it fits very well with your other work, and it's an amazing accomplishment for sure. Keep it up, and Red Copper looks like a good color to me!

Very cool piece and consistent with other of your negative space work. I like the color on this piece. I can't help but to think the little inset area at the opening is wanting something, maybe a contrasting color ring or even a little topper of some sort? I mean geez...wouldn't want anything placed in there to get out! ;)

Thanks all for taking the time to comment..it was a lot of work, but now that it is complete, i am happy with it on my shelf. The last 2 pieces with color, sure give the "braggin" shelf a lift!
