Pecan HF

I turned this HF last week but did not get it finished before SWAT. It had four fairly large worm holes that I filled with turquoise. Size is 9" diameter X 7" high. The wood was slightly wet and the form has a flat spot on the side grain but the end grain shape is OK. Tung oil to bring out the color, lacquer for a final coat. Comments and critiques welcome.

That is a very nice piece. I might have left out the turquoise though because it distracts slightly from the beautiful wood and shape IMHO. Possibly a dark brown filler would have looked better without being a little distracting.
