Went to Waco to SWAT for the first time had a great time and met alot of really nice people.
Had read about Beads of Courage on this site and others making boxes for the event so thought i'd do one to take with. I didn't know that they judged them and was really surprised to find out that they had picked mine for 10 place and i received this as a prize. The demo's were really good if i can only remember 1/2 of what i saw i will be happy. There were also vendors who were more than happy to separate you and your money as if i didn't know that before i got there. At the banquet we sat with four other couples and as we all introduced our selves one fellow said he was the one who won both lathes at swat last year and wanted to bring some luck to our table well he was the only one that won anything at our table saturday night on sunday at the tool raffle he sat in front of us at another table and i couldn't believe my eyes when he won the first lathe a powermatic what luck
